The eTile Classic photovoltaic tile is based on the traditional metal tile, with our photovoltaic modules factory-integrated. This ensures a tested, safe, and familiar roof that can be installed by any roofer after a short briefing. At the same time, our integrated photovoltaic module and its connection system to a complete solar installation are similar to those of a conventional photovoltaic system.

As a result, any electrician experienced in photovoltaics can handle all the electrical connections of the eTile without additional training, using standard components—from solar cables and MC4 connectors to optional power optimizers, standard photovoltaic inverters, and energy storage systems.

eTile Basic Color

Tile Classic is available in 5 standard color options, which differ in both the glass color and the metal sheet. Due to the technology, the variants also differ in the power generated, which is lower for colored glass with reduced translucency. Detailed electrical parameters are provided in the tables.

eTile offers a range of roof colors, including popular shades like anthracite, black, and brick red. The applied solar glass coloring technology maintains high efficiency while also meeting aesthetic requirements.

Colored roofs are a key element of the identity of many cities. In countries like Spain, Italy, and Portugal, red ceramic roofs are an important part of the local architecture. When designing eTile, we ensured that we offer colors tailored to various buildings and requirements—a solar roof doesn’t have to mean a limited choice.

You can use up to 100% of the roof surface.

The small panels integrate perfectly into the roof surface. Thanks to glass modules without photovoltaic cells, the roof can also be covered on the north side. Identical panels on each side create a unified appearance for the roof.
